A/C conversion?
hey guys...i have a b18b1 swap in my 1992 civic sedan....but the a/c compress doesn't mount up on the engine....only 1 bolt lines up....
should i get the a/c compressor from the integra and just replace it.....and refill the freon? i let out the freon too...cuz the rubber line leaked.... will the integra a/c compressor work with the rest of my a/c system? give me some details on how i can make this all work...cuz i want my car to have a/c again... |
you need the AC mounting bracket from a 2nd gen B16A

my civic a/c compressor is broken.........i put it on with one bolt, hoping it would hold for a while......well..it fell off on the highway, and dragged on the floor.......so it is fucked up......
i will gotta replace the compressor and the 2 rubber lines to complete the system..... so i'm wondering if the integra compressor would work since it would mount up perfectly to the bracket.... let me know...thanks |
expensive
A word of caution... I think I paid almost $250 to get my a/c system refilled. Its not cheap anymore.

i was told that you can get the whole freon conversion at crappy tire for about 100....
