Whats the going price for an ITR motor complete motor no ECU or tranny? what like 3500? Where should I go to get one? one of the Japan auto places can I trust them?

try se3arching yellowpages.ca type in japanese you will find all of the japanese importers

Ya I just want the normal head, block, intake, tb, injecters so ya longblock. everything but tranny and ecu, I would get the tranny but I don't feel like spending the extra cash on LSD and switching to hydro

i doubt ur gonna find an itr from a shop for 3500....iv been to a few of those japanese auto parts warehouses and they usually want 3g's for a b18c1 gsr motor and 4500 for a itr motor cuzz those guys r all crooks.

A1 japanese Auto Parts is were i got my dohc zc good service lookit up in the yellow pages and get a quote

u can find them for 3500 if u look and shop around, iv seen them go for that on this board a few times. thiose shops get those motors for half of what they turn around and sell them to u for.

I'd do a leak down test before paying that money... They drive those pritty hard in Japan.

As for finding one, well called a few japan autoplaces one guy says hes been working there for 9 year and has never seen a B18c5 haha riiiight

well I'm sort of re thinking the b18c5 it seems like to much of a pain, I know I can sell my B16a2 for good cash but I'm really tired of swaping the motor out again even though this thing as NO torque till like 7000. I work with it and just get some cam gears chipped and put my VFAC in and thing about cams.
