Bumpy ride

^^ 50 are too big on 16 inch rims dumbass.
different tire brands have different ride characteristics. first make sure your tire pressures aren't excessive. ideally, 30ish is good.
different tires have varying sidewall stiffness. the more you give up in sidewall stiffness, the more you give up in cornering stability and you'll find the tire tends to roll over more. usually higher end tires at a price point of about $250 each for that size will usually have a good compromise between comfort and performance.
cheap tires like most broke *** civic drivers use, wierd overseas brands from outside of Japan, etc. will have **** ride characteristics.

well, to be honest man, even 45s are too big for 16s... 205/45/15s should be what you run with 15s... probably a 40 with 16s... i run 195/50/15s with some yoko tires and they are great...
hahah, Bryce has doughnuts in the back and they are ****... you corner hard, you feel the suspension grab and then the tires give... its like a drop in the rear, it feels funny, but not funny when the car goes out of control...

Yo James, it's Mike from work.
The low profile tires have a much stiffer sidewall so you gotta deal with that =P
You know how you said you wanted to change to a different springs too. Well if you get race springs the ride will be even crappier haha. If you want to drop your car more get some softer lowering springs instead of race springs. Or maybe progressive rate lowering springs? I think those exist...

The bigger the wheels, the more road feel ( feedback) you have.
You feel every bump in the road, and you will have bump steer, and your wheels will pull into the grooves in the road, the bigger the wheels, the more the feel.
If you wanted a smooth ride, I'd sell you my grandfather's lincoln towncar!
You're gonna get used to it, don't worry
