the bc's are suppose to own skunks... but skunk has th enew "pro" line I think. Been awhile since I've checked specs but I think bc woudl be better. WHat compression you gonna run, and what other mods...?

skunk 2's are being used by everyone in the states and they have a new cam that is making serious power.

spec 3+, 18whp, dyno proven. mid to high range power and no cut off in the low end.

i have the wicked stage 2 cams, supposed to be exact same as skunk2 stage2. works good for my set up, 13:1cr 2.0 lsvtec. huge midrange and good topend. cant compare to the other cams though, i hear bc4's are good and i might try them to compare

Why dont' you get some stateside cam's Like Crower or Crane Cams? Those guy's have been making Cam's before any of those japanese company's were even around. And they use fresh Billet's as well. Im building up my B16 next year and Im buying Full crower Valvetrain and Rods. I Haven't heard anything bad about Skunk2's but there quite pricey are they not?

Have you looked into the Toda C's or the Jun Stage 3 cams? i'm considering those 2 rite now. a lot of people have said the crower stuff is 'fragile'..anyone know if this is true?

LEITNER 18-Jun-2005 07:20 AM

that problem has been corrected and they use a different core now that wont break. i talk to brian @ crower regularly. plus im using their 63402-2 in my 2.0 and they work awesome.
