broken tranny casing

hey guys to make a logn story short the bolt that goes through the rear mount snapped a huge chunk off where the bolt goes thru the rear mount into the tranny so im wondering if its possible to take off the other half of the tranny with the gears and mate it onto the part that hold the shift fork????

i never thought that this would happen to anyone else. The same thing happend to me.
Unfortunately, the part that the mainshaft/countershaft/reverse are attached to is the part of the housing that the mount bolt threads into. The other half is basically just a cover for all of the gears and guts of the tranny.
You can however swap the internals of your tranny (provided its in good shape) over to another casing.
