Broken header heatshield

After a week of driving around with the bottom support broken the noise is starting to **** me off. Is it alright if I just take the shield off and run without it or will it cause damage to my hoses in front due to the high heat?

Thanks

No it wont cause any damage to the hoses unless they r are not in the spot they came from factory.

just get a used one or one from the wreckers.. or attempt to fix yours (depending on how its busted)

It's not absouletly necessary.. but if its the manifold runner shield.. its not a bad idea to have it there.
