Brakes? What and how much?

Anybody got any options for me...it's time for new brakes.

I am looking for front rotors and pads...what, where and how much?

... but if anybody has a lead on some SiR's or GSR's that would be sweet too.

Hey,

Brembo cross driller rotors and PBR brake pads.. The rotors are about $80 each and the pads are about $50 for the set. Can get them from Elite Performance on Midland, just north of Finch.

That's the exact same set up I have and I also got them at Elite.

Brembo

$80 for Brembo rotors?
What Size? Do you use stock calipers?

How are they compared to a Integra Brakes...?

(Aren't GS-R brakes the same as the other Integra line up?)
(I think the only ones that are different are Type R)

If Happy and I are interested, there might be potential for a group buy.

Yes, I like.
I've had them for about 4 years now. There's not much brake dust from these brakes. Pretty good deal in my opinion. Just go to Elite and ask for Raymond. Here's their phone number, 416-291-3953.

The price went up for the rotors? I paid almost half that.

Hey Ken, you know those rotors that Elite sells are just the plain Brembo's and they just drill them. I can't believe they raised the price.

If this is true, watch out for stress fractures around the holes. You guys should be able to tell for sure if they are drilling the holes themselves if the insides of the wholes get rusty. If they came crossdrilled from Brembo guaranteed they won't rust. Why does everyone want the cross drilleds anyways? Is it for looks? Or are you guys looking for better breaking performance?

If anyone needs this stuff in the west end check out Import Performance Centre in brampton 905-791-2277.

What's your budget? The AEM pads and big brake relocation kit is amazing! I've never had stopping power like this before! The problem is they're a little too much for some people. I know of a place that can get you them fairly cheap!
