Brakes Question

I had my break pads and routers replaced about 4 months ago because the mech. I took it to said they were gone.

Now I'm driving around and I hear the pads grinding into the routers and they are both gone all over again.

Do you guys think I was screwed over the first time?

The first time was semi-metalic pads btw.

what??? 4 months?? Are you sure that the pads are gone?? did you inspect them??

How do you know that your pads are gone?? did you look at them?? Just because you hear sqeaking noises, it doesn't mean your pads are gone (I hope you know that much).

If the pads are really shot already, then you got scammed big time!!!!

I think its time you learned how to change your own rotors and pads. Its very easy job, and can done by looking at a DIY.
