Brake Kits for 90 CRX Si

Whats out there that will fit my car?

I want new calipers/rotors/etc.

I have looked at Brembo, Wilwood, Baer and can't seem to find anything

Maybe a hub swap is in line

Thanks

EX hubs, Prelude rotors, ITR or Accord Wagon calipers = 11.1" brakes

I was just at dominion auto in stoney creek.... They have many Integras in the yard with rear discs, if you don't have those already they would be a good investment. All you need is the trailing arms, and parking brake cable. Although it would be a good idea to get a proportioning valve as well (the reason i was there).

Hush you!
So the '89's didnt get the rear discs...
We're lighter though! LOL

Seriously though, try and get the discs and calipers from an Prelude or Integra. I know many of the other rexers have gone that route and say its worth it, plus its also cheap.

Fastbrakes are okay quality. The only thing they manufacter are the adapters. The calipers are Wilwood for the 4 piston and I believe Prelude for the cheaper 11" setup, and the cheapest uses Integra calipers.

Save your cash and get some good high friction pads, high temp fluid and some sticky rubber. You'll stop on a dime. Sticky rubber is the key.

I agree with that fore sure I have a setup similar to what he talking about and my car stops great. One night i did test stops from 120 about 8 times in a row with no people fade! Although the wheels were smoking hot. If a could get a big brake ugrade comple for $200 or so then i jump on it but otherwise stay with the stock size>
