Bov

which blow off valves make the fluttery noise iv been listening too clips all day and none seem too make that noise? is it the blow of valve thats fluttering or sumtin else??

maybe its the wastegate you are hearing.
I've noticed that i hear my wastegate a lot, since its just vented to atmosphere, it take a few pounds of boost to make my BOV go off, whereas i can hear the wastegate without even really seeing positive pressure.

ive always thought that fluttering is compressor surge,, which is realllly badd for the turbo.

Bingo! That fluttering sound is the sound of your turbo going south. Leave running no BOV to the euro guys.
