block heater installation....
anyone know how a block heater is supposed to be installed on a civic?? I don't know if it's just wires or there drilling involved. I wanna know how it is installed so i don't get ripped off!
Thanks |
on the back of your block there will be a plug about the size of a silver dollar....im not sure what size socket it is, but all you have to do is take this plug out and install the block heater and run the wires...its not hard to do...you could do it yourself but if you can, do it on a lift. Its not imperative that you do this, but itll make it easier on your face cause the coolant wont spill all over when you take out that plug.
by the way, I think the plug is around where the oil filter is...maybe above it. Im not sure |
