Blitz BOV and external wastegate confusion!?
I am trying to figure out how to eliminate (if possible) the flutter sound (cavitation) that my buddy is getting from his wastegate. Could it be adjustmentment of the screws to loosen/tighten spring? The Blitz BOV isn't releasing any air or giving off the normal sound most Blow Off Valves make. Note: It's tuned together with a T3/4 w/GSR motor. Anyone have any suggestions/answers how to eliminate the wastegate flutter sound? What to do to hear the BOV instead.
Thanks, Walter |
Sounds like compressor surge to me. Try a new spring in the BOV.

blitz = garbage get a tial bov
if your bov isn't venting then you are getting compressor surge which is not good. don't drive it till you figure it out vaccum line hooked up to it..? there might be an adjustment on the bov....or maybe your buddy got a bov for some gnarly setup that his **** can't even pop open. |
blitz bov's should atleast work.. they are garbage though.
is it adjustable? if it is.. turn it softer.. (you cant tune a bov for your setup, its trial and error) where is the vac. line hooked up to? |
Thanks for all your suggestions!!
