lol so my buddy was on the 410 doin out 120 n his engine blew... not sure wat it is though.... been told its the valves and other things wont start any ideas its got a b18a1 stock RS n wat would he be lookin at to get a used one

if I was him I'd look into getting a b20 put in with a chipped ecu for more fuel...but a jdm b18 is gonna be fairly cheap like under 1000 for the motor then install is on top but you nver really knwo prices vary

your not really going to fix it without tons of machine work to the head and replacing pistons... when a timing belt snaps the over head cams start to slow down due to the resistance from the valve springs.... at the same time the pistons are not slowijng down at the same rate and what happens is at a certain time you get open valves withe the piston at top dead center and therefore valves get smashed right into the piston and the head distroying the combustion chamber

b18b non vtec is 140 hp with soem nice torque...b18c (gsr) 180 hp

torque figures are the same on both 122ft/lbs on the B18a/b
