Alright well I was driving tonighit and I have having trouble putting the car into 3rd so I just cruzing and pulled up to a light im sitting waiting for it to change once it did i start going and again my 3rd ground its way in.. my buddy who was beside me calls me and told me he just heard a loud bang so i pull over to check out my car.

I hop out look under the car see nothing, checked the engine bay everything was fine. Once i got back into the car i went to goto first and it wouldnt go into gear, but 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th where fine, also it would not go into reverse. So im like okay i just blew 1st and reverse some how.

Driving home i'm slowing down for a red light i was going about 5-10kp/h and i jammed it into 1st. It grinded its way into gear and work. I pulled over into the gas station on the other side turned the car off and turned it back on and it went into gear no problem, so then i tired reverse also no problem.

Once i got home i tryed it again and have had no problems. Now I don't know whats going on. Anyone have any idea's?



Note: I was at the last two meets and my car was running great with no problems

Everytime I see a post like this it makes me laugh. Whenever someone blows a tranny the title always has a double meaning. Makes me giggle. I know I'm stupid

could be the clutch components....happened to me b4...bring it to a pro to get it checked....

hard to say what it is, tranny out of sync, or could be your clutch is goin, you have to get under their and take a look

more than likely its the trans we had a problem with a friends vibe.

If the tranny was toast you wouldnt even be able to push your car. And if it blew while your were driving your car would bounce around like a rag doll. I crack the tranny where the Diff was while i was drving it isnt really safe.
