on the EL stock tire size is 195/55R15
for winter i'm debating between 185/65R14 or 185/70R14, car is lower 2in, would i be better off running a bigger tire?

198? No such size.
Run the same size or narrower.
185/65/14, 185/65/15, something like that. 70 will be too tall. Stick with a 65 or 55 sidewall.

i think if possible, go 185/65/14... that should be a pretty good tire size for your car in the winter time....
