Big Problem With Speed!!!
k...yest erday i picked up my car from the shop...I had put a ZC single cam in.....i was driving home on the highway and i hit 140 and it kicked back what could it be?... i was thinking maybe the mech did switch the ECU thats why it didn't go past it

yeah not sure maybe cuz its only 106 hp . . . . . and speeding is bad man . . . . good thing it doesn't go over 140 . . its people like you that give the rest of us civic drivers bad names, your why we have project erase . . .

lol..lol u guys a jokers i just wanted to test it out i'm not a person 4 speed but i wanted to know how my engine peforms...and thats not it even when u have a 98 hp u can still go fsater then that

*edit* admiting to speeding isnt a smart move either lol. I wud test out my car after a swap or engine mods to but i dont go crazy... hence the clean record...*knock on wood*

cuz what he is doing is against the law, as far as i know TCC does not support people hoping on the highway "seeing what they paid for"

140km isnt fast, lots of people cruise at 140 on the highway.

why would you swap a zc single cam in?
the install is worth more than the motor.

sohc zc's are worth 250 bucks at the importers, im sure he paid 3-400 for the install !!!! probably closer to 5 if they changed the intake over to MPFI from DPFI, if they left the DPFI in there he has maybe 90 hp and 1.6 litres instead of the 1.5 litre with 87 . . .

if they left the 1.5 how do you have a sohc zc then there 1.6 ? you mean they left the dpfi unit you should do an mpfi swap, that'll bring ya up to 106 hp or so might be more fun !!!

k listen i don't know much about this **** if i did i wouldn't of got a zc sohc....i know i have that and the manifold is a 1.5L...all i want to know is how to fix my problem...thats all i want to know?
