yeah I had bought one from CT and it fits around the Motomaster ones but when I brought it home it wouldn't fit around the honda filter. Its the one that cups around the filter and you put the rachet in it and turn.

wherever you can access and still have range of motion to turn leftie loosie

I've never used a filter wrench on my car... I hand tighten it, and I loosen it by hand. I've never had a leak neither!

LOL Matt,

You just reminded me. I have a hammer drill, and heard that you can use that as an impact tool. Is that correct if so where to I get the drive bit ?

Walked by the Welding section at CT yesterday, *Drool*

the first one is cool .. thats what my old mechanic used and it came of in a snap.

As for the second one I saw it at CT and tried it on their filters.... doesn't seem to cool.

anyway I'm going use the 'ol screw driver because I'm running on fresh oil with this old filter good thing i change the oil ahead of schedule.

THANKS GUYS !

Tony man, just grab it with both hands and give it all you've got!! Keep trying, it will eventually come off.

And put a thin layer of NEW oil on the washer, so it wouldn't get stock next time.
