hmm....but why with a b16 tranny....
i was originally planning on a b16a swap...it comes with tranny and ECU for only 1400 (tax included) but my dad says it's not worth it and go for the b18c5

I don't think the b18c5 is worth the $5G for 190hp ish
You might want to check out a b20b or b20z vtec.
ie. b20 bottom end and a b16 vtec head.
I haven't seen a dyno result of this combo yet.
You may want to check into a b17 or b18c

to put any b-series engine/tranny combo into an eg you can use a combination of your stock mounts and 94-01 integra mounts.
lsvetc is good b/c of the 81mm bore, but with the b20 a higher compression isn't as necessary due to its displacement.
My buddy has a stock block b20vtec with ITR cams tuned with hondata making over 200whp. But he doesn't rev past 7500rpm....and this is in a 90 SI.

yeah LS/VTEC is the best swap if you know what you're doing and build it right. i think it's more about which swap can you put in easier and yet at the same time make a decent amount of power when we're talking about the best swap. LS/VTEC has potential but i wouldn't consider it being the easiest. if you want something decent just go gsr with i/h/e and up the compression on the motor.

forget the franky motors. you probally dont have the time or funding.
forget the ITR swap. too much money
if u dont have alot of money and u....
a) do alot of highway, --->>>> B16a2
b) do alot of street, ---->>>>> b20z (no vtec head, too much hassle)
if u have a deacent cash flow
GS-R and your done.

Just to add to QuiCK_TiME post.
On a b16a2 engine/trans combo when your on the highway 120km/h = 4000rpms ish. I heard an ITR tansaxle will be 4500rpm @ 120km/h.
Have you checked into the new K series out of the newer Civic SiR or RSX-S?

i have a JDM GSR and trust me you will love it...with some $$$ (add ons) to the GSR you will fly over any ITR with the same mods.. tell me if i'm wrong

If you want out of the box power , and dont really plan on doing any major work, i suggest an h22 swap. Its about 5000 maybe a bit less.
and f.u to all the people who are gunna say the car will stear like a boat etc....those are myths, check engine weights etc.....and upgrading braking is always a good idea when putting in a bigger motor.
