Best Battery For Honda Civic.

OEM whats wrong with y'all? why would somebody goto the dealer for an inflated price? any aftermarket battery is fine, just make sure its a decent brand...interstate, exide, motomaster etc...all the same sh*t...unless u want something small and light then an odessey is nice and then there exide made deep cycle gel batteries...no need to goto the dealer tho, thats just silly...thats like goin to the dealer specifically for windshield washer fluid

So you can wait until Optima is done redesigning the battery, or you go with another brand like exide, interstate, etc... Who knows when Optima will be done designing the new D51, and D51R. So if you need the battery, go with another brand name. I'm assuming your looking for a deep cycle battery, otherwise you shoudn't be looking at yellow tops.

Whats the original ratings for the battery for these model year Civics?
Like whats the CCA, HCA, Group, we should be looking for.
I want to get those lightweight batteries from Oddessy but I need a rough average spec to look along.
