Couldnt have said it better myself, I d never touch the omin's. For about the same price you can get PIC COilovers that are track proven.

best bang for buck suspension mod IMO would be sway bars...especially if your car doesn't have any to begin with, hell even if its just got a front bar (like mine did), getting a bigger front bar and a decent sized rear bar will make all the different in the world.
As for coilovers, i suggest PIC as well....just b/c chris said so, chris is soo cool, he's my hero....j/k.

well, since he's talking about a full coilover, so i'm pretty sure money isn't an issue.
I don't think he'll like the ride of a crappy shock combined with a cheap, crappy coilover sleeve. I'd at least get a decent spring (eibach, tokico, H&R etc etc) instead of a crappy coilover sleeve.

i've considered doing the sway-bar only setup, but found out in the autocross world that a setup of PIC suspension for around a grand + install works BETTER than a sway. in fact, most people who go with full track coilovers end up taking OFF the swaybar to keep the back end planted better...

PIC is what i'd suggest. I'm gonna get the 12/14k PIC adjustables in the summer. Those who race solo1 or solo2 will phear me and my rust bucket!!

$400 sway bars?
$1000 coilovers?

For $1000 you could get springs/shocks and sway bars (i know b/c i did....tokico advanced handling kit and suspension techniques sway bars)

Handles sick and the ride quality is stock-like, not too stiff, plus the shocks are adjustable (illuminas).

PIC and Stance Coilovers are the best bang for the buck coilovers, in my opinion.
Both have been proven to withstand great amounts of torture, use top notch parts in manufacturing, and include some innovative features that truly make them worth your money.

Full coilovers are great, but give the eibach G/C Koni setup a thought. Theyre really reliable, and infinetely adjustable. I'm actually running koni reds which have 60% of the damping ability the yellows have for about 60% of the cost. Just don't run anything higher than 400lbs up front and 300 rear and the ride is great. It should set you back around 7-800$ for the bunch. my 2 cents

i recommend F2 (function forms) or PIC
or if you want to go custom i recommend Ground Control (eibach springs with koni yellows)
