USING A multimeter check the output + terminal on the alt to know good ground ie. metal on the engine, etc. It should read 14.4v if not then your alt isn't charging.

^^^^ lol He doesn't mean that..

You swapped an alternator from a Delsol Si into your CX? They are the same.

- Make sure the alternator belt is on tight.
- Make sure the POWER wire connection to the alternator and battery is clean and tight.

If both of those tests pass. Test the voltage at the battery while the car is running. You should see 14.4+ Volt. If you are seeing voltage in the 12 range then your alternator is probably dead and the car is running off the battery.

nevermind not worth my time too look up the info.

However your Alt shouldn't read above 14.4V. If it is then it's going to cook your battery.

^^ dude he didnt say anything more than 14.4V..

the proper way to test alt. output is with an ammeter.. but I suppose quickly checking the voltage of the battery works as well.... if its up in the high 13s-low 14s, it's charging..
