battery..

not sure if this is where it should be admins but
i bought a battery in aug 03
and i cant find the reciept
do u think canadian tire will take it back without it?

its a motomaster battery
2 years replace and 6 years warrenty

Go in, tell them what's what and see. No harm in trying. At CT don't they mark the battery, like a sticker with the date on it or somehting like that?!?!

they mark it biut it says clearly on the warranty paper that u need a reciept

but see...the waranty isnt transferable and without the reciept how are they to know that the battery wasnt somebody elses first? thats why they wont take it back without reciept or the lil manual that comes with it that has the reciept printed out on it aswell...u think they would wanna give away $120+ batteries just like that? if that was the case I would have a stock load of new batteries
