b20 help

The time has come for my b20 vtec this monday....Now all i have is a complete b20z motor and a complete b16 motor.

1- what parts do i need-i have ordered a oil lime kit thats all..

what do i need can someone write a list for me or help me out....I have some stage 2 cams but i was told i need to cut or make the valve reliefs larger. ALso, i was also told i cant play with the timing too much...only plus or minus 1 or my pistons wills lap the valves or some garbage like that.......IS this a myth....

can someone post a parts list and what are some optimal parts i should purchase...I cant afford pistons...also, should i get a 3 layer head gasket or 2 layer.....I plan to rev it to 8k, should i buy arp headbolts ,

you need to do some serious research before putting this together. Don't expect people to tell you exactly what you need to do. Research, theres lots of info out there.
I would suggest using the Golden Eagle lsvtec conversion kit. It comes with all of the necessary parts for a vtec conversion.
Ditch the unothodox pulleys, use the stock crank pulley or a fluidampr, but they are $$$.

b20 build up

heres just a little article on a b20 build up. Just so you know what you are getting yourself into. Obviously most of the steps used aren't necessary for a b20vtec but some are a must
