B20 and ECU
i know everyone says when doing the swap its ideal to use the LS ecu then do the OBD change over from OBDII to OBDI
wouldnt this cause a problem...the computer thinks the motor is still a 1.8 liter than a 2.0? how would you get around this...or does it even matter? |
I know a person who has this setup....b20 in an EG with an LS ECU, and who did the OBDII changeover to OBDI by changing the dizzy, injectors etc and it runs like a champ.:D
|
so he used the P75 ECU and has had no problems whatsoever
|
Get a chipped ECU
|
Ya, i've chipped several ECU for the B20.
You can even run a stock Civic DX ECU with the B20 program in it. |

Originally posted by stock94block would i be better off doing that over changing to the P75 ecu...and get the same results if flippin CRV's came manual this would really cause less confusion You're best off chiping your stock DX ECU, or running a P75 (P75 will run just slightly lean under WOT). |
