your model vehicle has multitudes of options when it comes to engine swaps.......just make sure you get the engine frm a reputable place and have it installed with a reputable person

ya buying your motor from a reputable place is key...some will say oh this motor only has 30k on it which could be the truth but mostly likely a lie

even if a motor has alot of kms it doesnt matter just make sure you get the seller to do a compression test on the motor infront of you, if all the numbers are good arcross the board and the visual inspection is good then giv'er and enjoy

theres only one place in the GTA where you should get your motor from. And I think we all know where that one place is.

but you'll need a full swap.. axles, linkage (includes stab. bar), axles, halfshaft, starter, alternator, rear tranny bracket, torque mounts, drive side engine side bracket, chip the ecu with (whatever motor you get) basemap and your set. There are a few other things you'll need, rad hoses, might need a new fuel line from your filter to your rail, throttle cable bracket (if you dont want to play around with it yourself) blah blah blah

Not the only place. You can also get one through Defcon, who is an affiliate and has done swaps for some of us on this board, including myself.

OH.. okay.

so basically you want to buy a longblock/tranny and buy everything else bran new? That will be costly.. probably around 3500-$4000, especially if you go with OE products.
