b18c new swap, new problems
 

i just had a jdm b18c put into a '99 cx. i picked up the car thursday. today i noticed that during a slow turn i could hear a grinding/rubbing sound. it happened in either direction.

i will call the shop monday and i am sure they will fix the issue but i thought maybe someone had an idea.

i did notice some old oil laying in a fresh pool under the car. i don't thing it was mine though. it wasn't much. i watched for more and none appeared.

any ideas?

Probably the heatshields scraping.

I still don't know why these 'mechanics' don't road test cars after engine swaps or work being done. Sloppy work.

hey im currently in the middle of my swap...just wondering what harness i need ...i have a 96spec jdm itr motor...in a 99 civic hatch cx...i got an sir harness but the only problems im having are with the alternator and dizzy as well as the plug behind the motor under the intake manifold...can anyone help...there is two wires for the dizzy only one on the harness..and nothing on the harness fits for the plug under the intake mani?
