b18c gsr turbo

just lookin for some input into what I should run with it. Im lookin to spend in my budget $10,000 thats including buyin that motor. Its not daily driver just the odd day in the summer. What kinda setup should I run ? I want some nice power but nothing to extreme. I want to do everything rite. I realize turbo and daily driver dont belong in the same sentence but its just gonna be the odd day. Should I spend 1500 on building up the motor and then 3500 on the gsr motor and the rest on the turbo setup. i.e injectors, fuel pump etc. I tried searchin but couldnt find much for a b18 gsr turbo. Anyone on here have a setup on one I would appreciate the feed back. Thanks in advance

search on www.honda-tech.com and www.homemadeturbo.com

Its been done A LOT. With great results.
T3/T4 57 trim
3" exhaust
550+cc injectors
high volume (255lph) fuel pump
FMIC
chipped ecu and custom tune with crome

$1500 to build the engine? Double that, plus some if you wanna do it right.
If you can do all of the assembly/labour yourself you will save a lot of money. Paying a shop to build an engine is $$$. Doing it yourself and screwing up and having to do it again is also $$$....lol

Lots of people daily drive their boosted cars, just make sure you have another car or acess to another car you can drive here and there.
You just gotta stay on top of things (maintainance) a lot more with a turbo'd car. Like check the oil/coolant/brake/clutch fluid every time you get gas. Don't just say "oh i'll get it fixed next week". Its a lot of money to invest into a car, you gotta make sure to keep your investment in good shape.

thanks for the input I'll take a search over there. Im gonna spend $10,000 on engine and turbo if its worth dumping $3000 into the motor before boost then I have around $4000 to spend on the turbo setup. And yes I have means to another vechile just incase Id rather have a shop do the install and stuff since I dont know alot about it. Id try myself but I dont wanna mess anything up lol. Staying on top of maintence would not be a problem thats understandable thanks for the feed back. Any one else have a setup lemme know what you spent on it.

Build it right the first time is critical, having a good shop to build, install and tune it is equally important.

Motors don't walk into you car on its own, in my mind, a good shop is top priority.
