B18C fuel mileage?
For an EG with a B18C swapped in, what should the fuel mileage be like roughly? (assuming mild mods such as intake and exhaust)

250 miles tops, but thats miles. Thats with an AFR of around 14:1 when cruising, which is too rich and a waste of gas.
I desperately need to get a laptop so i can street tune my car, i know for a fact (i have a wideband o2) that my cars running too rich at part throttle. And i know there's more power to be had with a little tuning. But i don't want to pay someone to tune my car when i am completely capable of doing so, i just need a laptop. |
is that 450-550 km's on about 45 L of gas? ... my car seems to take less gas
|
400-500 PER TANKĄŁ ALL CITY DRIVING ĄŁAND 1 TANK WILL LAST ME 15 DAYS
|
I get 500KM to 35L or so, Mostly highway and RARELY over 5K Rpm
|
whats the fun in that?:p
I just realized that 250 miles is 400km's. So my gas mileage isn't that bad, but its rare that i get 250 miles outta 40L. Damn i need a laptop. |

Hard to be over 5K when your stuck in traffic:p Now when I :drivesafe for a full tank its more like 350-400KM, but I would never do such a thing.. :hide: For another example, my big wagon rarely sees 2500 rpm, there is really no point...500KM to 55L which isn't too bad for a 5L V8. |
lol well...in the summer I tend to get worse gas milage...but thats when the road is clear and ready for hard acceleration hehe
