B18 engine offer

A guy i know offered me a B18b1.. for 300$. The motor has some work done, port and polish and some other stuff, but some bearings are f***ed up and it needs rebuilding. For that price is it worth getting it and rebuilding it? it doesnt come with a tranny though.

Well, im told the only really bad things are the bearings. The guy said the engine did have some abuse, he was honost about it. But he said the block and everything was mint, he took a look at it once it was out of his car. It just needs a good rebuild and it would be a decent motor. How much is a rebuild of a motor?

Take it all apart, clean it all out, change all gaskets, replace the bearings and valve stuff.. how much would i be expecting it to cost? My friend who rebuilds engines said I should drill something and use oversize bearings and a few other things. He said it would be cheap to fix this motor up to great shape too, but im not to sure.

And I would plan to swap it into my car, which currently has a d15b7
