b16b (PCT) OBD2B ECU interchangeable with b16a2 (p2t) ecu and vice versa?

I've been searching around but I can't figure out if the JDM B16B (PCT civic type r) ecu will fit a USDM CIVIC SIR (b16a2 motor with PCT ecu)?

Also, can the b16a2 ecu be used on the b16b?

This is a time sensitive issue, so I would appreciate any concrete input for a knowledgeable source.

Thanks in advance!

there are two versions of the b16b ecu.
the 97-98 version and then the 99-00 version.
it depends on which one i believe.

i am wondering if the 99-00 PCT (b16b) OBD2B will fit a USDM b16a2 motor with the stock P2T ECU. sorry about the confusion

I'm pretty sure it doesen't, as far as I know the 2000 Sir uses OBD2a plugs. (not sure though)
