B16B into a 92 Honda Lx- D15
I need to know how hard would it be to wire the b16b into the non vtech 92 honda. I need to know what is the process involved in all that. How hard will it be to have a obd2a ecu and an obd1 harnes- I can get a harnes converter- but is that it - is it that simple as to pluging it in. I need help. Anyone with the right experiance please help. If you have done this before u are more then welcome to help please.

you will need a harness converter if you plan on using an obd2a ecu. You will also need to wire in a knock sensor, and hard wire your distributor. The obd2 dizzy's have one large plug while your obd1 harness will have two plugs for the dizzy. You can just cut the plugs off the dizzy and harness and solder/shrinkwrap the wires. I am using an obd2 gsr dizzy on my obd1 b16, so it can be done, and all of the wire colors match up exept for two.
Or you can use a chipped p28 to plug right into your harness and get an obd1 DOHC VTEC distributor so it plugs into your harness. Also if you use a chipped p28 you can just eliminate the knock sensor all together. Then of course you will need to wire up the vtec solenoid. I also believe that an obd2 ecu would look for 2 o2 sensors while your car only has one, again using a chipped p28 will eliminate this problem.
