B16A2 Transmission
 

ok guys I replaced my tranny in my civic about a month or 2 ago because of a slight 3rd gear grind. Now I was wondering should I try to sell the old tranny, or should I just junk it. And if i should sell it how much should i ask for it, it is a used b16a2 tranny from a 1999 civic si, it had about 50000 miles on it.

sure - sell it. Just be honest and realistic as to what you want.

Some people may want it with the intention of rebuilding it, or need a casing cause they cracked theres...or want the good gears to mate with some other gears to make a hybrid tranny...all sorts of options.

If you don;t know what it is worth...just sell it BO and be happy with what you get...at this point anything is better than trashing it.

^^exactly jsut say obo and taek 20 bux who cares its' jsut takign up space if yoru nto gonna rebuild it so get rid of it or your garage will built up with broken parts and worn tires...:nods:

You state that this tranny is from your 1999 Civic Si and that it is out of a B16a2 engine, is this true as it has to be for a 1999 Civic SiR and if that is the case, i will give you $20 for it.
