If your interest is to get a bigger throttle body

Get a Prelude Throttle body, it will bolt right up

good question

here is the word. the B16a2 intake will make much more power than the skunk2, ITR, from idle-8300rpm, when ported. the ITR, Skunk2 manifold is designed for high rpm use. the intake manifold will dictate exactly where the motor makes its power. if you were to install a set of cams using the B16a2 man, the motor will make a bit less peak hp than the short runner intake, but it will make from 2-4 whp & tq more, throughout the entire powerband. the only downfall to the B16a2 manifold is that it will run out of steam above 8400rpm. if you are looking to rev between 8800-9500 rpm, then the ITR, Skunk2 would be your best bet. another thing is that the B16b has a 60mm throttlebody. do you really think that an extra 2-3mm will make a difference? i can tell you that if your motor is not heavily modified (BIG cams, headwork, race header) go with the 16a2 manifold, it will crush the Skunk2. people are going to realize that the majority NEVER rules, they just mislead. check out some of the 10 second n/a race cars, they all have different manifolds, headers, c/r, suspension etc. its only the foolish streetracing crowd that falls for the propoganda. don't think because everyone has it (itr manifold) means that it is the best, because, if you look at all of the fast street cars, you'll notice that they are all different. lastly, look at the JUN lemon hatch, it has a B18c w/B16a2 manifold, 13.5@102, with 8800rpm shifts. go figure.
