B16A2 for a B20Vtec
Hey All,
Really need your help on this one. should I trade in my B16A2 for the B20Vtec. $5000 for the swap and I can get credit for my B16A2. Please let me know what you think!!!

Is the B20/VTEC already built? If it is I'd pass on it. Frankie motors take alot of preparation to work well... if it's already assembled then you really don't have any idea how the motor was put together in terms of parts, machine work, and little extras.

I tend to agree with Jugglez...
Half the fun of having a frankenstein motor is the fact that you help in its "creation" and you know exactly what it is and isn't capable of as well as the guts of the motors.
I'd pass on by and do one of two things..
A) Build your B16A2 and turbo it
B) Trade in your B16 for cash and build your own frankenstein.

Thanks!! I just did some research and it turns out that the B20 is good only if it was put together right. I would need to get to change the head. There seems to be some reliability issues with the B20, so Turbo would be my next option. I just don't want headaches and spending extra $$$ later on.
