are you talking about this?
If you took this out you should have replaced the rubber seal inside, otherwise it should be ok.
But i don't think this is what you are talking about since i just read your post again and you said its in the head.

it's not the dissy zeeman!
below the dissy is dry also the cam seal! the head gasket below front to back on the LEFT side under the dissy is wet looks like oil is seaping from under the head u think an upside down head gasket would do that ?? i dont think highly on that

I would say it's a cam seal as they way Honda designed them are trash. If you let you motor sit overtime it will cause the seals to dry out, harden and crack. So when you run your motor the oil will seep out and it can be a bad leak.

zeeman someone told me to check the allen plugs on the side of engine maybe loose! that plug is fine, i checked the 2 on to in line with the spark plug holes the far right is dry the far left closest to the dissy is filled ?? i think this is my problem not to sure tho ???

the head gasket has UP marked in them so you dont screw things up. plus i dont think that you can put thm on upside down without all your fluids coming out. the gasket isnt going to keep it from starting. try the order of your plug wires, sounds silly but i have seen it happen.

even upside down it still fit perfect i checked it! kinda universal.
plugs eh

oil sits at the dip stick very end of it so how much is that left maybe technically i lost 2 liters cuz im assuming with it still kinda reading on the stick i still got some left!

the std holes will line up if the gasket is upside down but thats it. the vtec oil feed hole will not line up the coolant holes will not line up and the oil drain holes might but it will be obvious unless you are blind that it is on wrong. i have an EF honda manual from japan (came with the b16) in pdf format. give me your email addy and i will send it to you. it will help.
