which car does this motor come from? and for all you guys who have this swapped where do you get them from and for how much? Because Im thinking....how do you know the exact KMS on it? suppose it has like 350,000...and the seller tells you it has 70,000...how do you REALLY know?

For once I won't say "SEARCH!!" but would still be a good idea.
B16A1
90-91 civic/crx (JDM)
B16A2
92-96 Civic (JDM)
94-96 Del Sol VTEC(B16A3)
99-00 Civic SiR(USDM)
Try our affliate Teknotik.
As for mileage, you are taking a risk, but it's a good idea to get the engine you want compression and leakdown tested first to verify it's condition before you plunk down your hard earned cash.
Before installation, its a good idea to change things like timing belts, waterpumps, full tune up, clutch etc. in order to prevent any problems from arising.
BTW asking this question is opening up a HUGE can of worms, so wear your flame suit.

Just to ADD ... True JDM B16's will be labeled with B16A
B16A2 is from a 99-00 USDM SIR
92-95 SIR II JDM are 170hp vs 160HP for the USDM
You have to be careful when getting a JDM engine because a first gen 90/91 B16A will have the same engine code as a B16A from 92-95 ... one is OBD0 and the other is OBD1 or ODBII ... there are other ways of telling. You should really do you research or it could end up costing you
