b16 power question...

If i had a stock b16a1 in a crx, what kind of horsepower could i make, all motor in upgrades. I know it starts at 160hp stock.

That's hp rated at the flywheel. A meaningless figure used by the car manufacturer to trick customers

actual hp would be around 140.

remember, you're only limited to the size of your wallet.

140whp is a good strong motor, something like 134whp is a good average IMO

But unlike some cases people get like 122whp :fustrated

but like previous posts, how big is your wallet, and what is your goal for power? As much as you spend on parts and what not, remember TUNING is key!

intake exhaust header, CTR cams, adjustable cam gears, ITR valve train, hondata....that'll do ur 2000...if u want to spend more....then fuel system, pump, reg. fuel rail...

a lot more u will feel nice difference..prolly pushing my guess 160-165 whp....? my guess

unless that stuff is used, or stolen, i dunno how he would get all that for $2000??

a good quality catback exhaust (apex'i), header (dc sports) and intake (aem) is like $1500 alone.. unless of course you have friends who can get good prices
