b16 header
ive got my exhaust and intake, ive saved for a header, now im debating 4-1 or 4-2-1. zeeman you said you like the 4-2-1 over thw 4-1, why is that. are the 4-1 not made for higher end power? and thats where the b16's power is.

look at the expensive, $1200, custom made headers (SMSP, RMF, DTR, hytech) they are usually 4-2-1 with at least a 2.5" collector. This is b/c a well designed 4-2-1 (one with proper diameter primaries, and the right length between the merges and one with the proper sized collector) will flow just as good up top as any 4-1 header, but will out flow the 4-1 down low and through the midrange all day.
I am using the vibrant j-spec SS 4-2-1 w/2.5" collector. This is b/c i got it for $400 brand new. The craftsmanship is top notch, its got a nice thick flange and the welds are mint. It is an exact replica of the T1R/JUN header for a fraction of the cost.

thanks for the info man. i definetly cant afford the $1200 headers but 300-400 im looking to spend. i was looking at the vibrant headers, mostly the 4-1. does your header still go for $400 brand new?
