b16 build up

b16 build up

i just picked up a b16 block with ctr pistons in it, with a pr3 head what would the compression be and will i have clearence probs with skunk 2 stage 2 cams, is it worth milling the head to gain some compression, i know these cams like a high c/r but piston to valve clearence may be an issue?

Dont mill the head!! I have the same set up and I have problems getting fuel. I have to run sunoco 94 the car makes all kinds of noise on any other fuel. If you are using those cams you have to upgrade the valve springs, they are around 550$ before taxes. Spend the money on the springs, you dont need any valve float

i will use 94 anyways you should with a b16 , have you ever dynoed your car?

I never dynoed the car, dont really care for bragging rights. I am going to put in a thicker head gasket in the winter though so I can at least use somthing other than sunoco. I have a chip and obd1 ecu with ctr cams. the car runs great.
