no, intakes are a very complicated system of pipes, connectors and filters. i suggest you only get it from a honda dealership or performance shop in japan ONLY. jdm motors require jdm intakes for optimal performance.

cliff notes: get any intake meant for ur engine

to answer ur question Corectly!

the B16A and the B16A2 is the same!!!!
the only difference is Compression Ratio!

lmao, ever hear of sarcasm...did u read my cliff notes by any chance? aka intake on jdm b16 will fit usdm b16. :goof:

also, you dont need aem or any of the expensive ones. get the cheapest intake meant for your car and itll perform the same way as a big brand companies would.

I think I misunderstood your post/notes:

IE. For JDM B16A you need a JDM intake.

That's how I understood it as. oops! hehe

imported_Moe_Mentum 20-Oct-2005 11:31 AM

umm I have a JDM b16a and I easily used a no-name brand 96-00 SIR Short Ram intake.. just changed the filter to a K&N for better performance. The the diameter was the same, and the piping fits.
