Who owns a 99-00 SiR? Does is say in the manual that these motors must take 91 octane? Just want to know if these garbage motors can run fine on 87 or 89.

thx

yes it does say it in the manual. as for these 'garbage' motors running on 87, if they're garbage to you then try it out and find out for yourself.

Yeah man. Higher compression=premium. Don't wanna take a chance with yer engine.

the B16A properly installed will have a knock sensor that will take out timing in case of a bad tank of gas.
