I have a solo short shifter, I've replaced the bearings once as they are not of the bushings/o-ring honda design but am satisfied with the performance considering how much use it has seen.

If I was to upgrade it would be to a TWM or a B&M w/spherical bearing.

I love the B&M short shifter, I've only had it for 2 days and ask myself what the hell took me so long to get one. Go with B&M!

I got the b&m...only complaint is that it dont have the factory bend in it...other than that its a solid ****fer and the bushing kit it comes with is primo for crisping up the sloppy stock shifter bushing...and the price point is decent too on the b&m

the stock h22 shifter is superior to any rod style short shifter
