B 16 Or GSR ?
HEY I HAVE a 1999 CIVIC Si
AND ITS TIME 4 A SAWP
AND IVE BEEN ASKING AROUND BUT STILL UNDECIDED WITCH 2 SWAP 2
A B16 ?
OR GSR b18 C ?
AND IF I PUT a B 16 How much is it 4 a TURBO KIT ?

B 16 is i turbo it in the future k20 every thing added is about 10,000
i was thinking of a K20 but im buying a bike this winter i just need another engine cuz mine is 220000 at this point and just another engine for now that is better u know ?>
And money is an issue

WHY WOULD A K20 IN A BUBBLE BE 10 GRAND WHEN A GUY IS SELLING A ENTIRE CAR WITH A K RUNNING 12'S FOR 9 GRAND OBO. IF YOU ARE BROKE GO LS COMPLETE SWAP.

90% OF THE K20'S FOR SALE ARE JUJU CUSTOMS ON THE BOARDS ANYWAYS LET ALONE SOME OF THE OTHER CARS.

O Can Buddies
Witch would be better and a better price bottum line im not going to go with a K20 and if i go with a GSR i know if i turbo it it will be fast ter then a k20 In the future and to turbo the K20 it will scost me and as i said before im short on the money

You just said you dont want to spend money on a k20 because your buying a bike, but your talking about boosting a gsr which will be the same amount of money?

I would personally swpa in a gsr because they are stronger and have more tq. To me, driving a b16 is like driving a d16.

If you'reconcerned about money and want something simple, I'd do a B20 with an ITR tranny. Torque and a close ratio tranny can make a very quick little car.

tell u the truth the only one that got my attention ois the B 20 with the ITR tranny that sounds really intresteing to me staright up ..

if your so concerned about money just put another d series in and leave it stock... you wont have problems and save a bunch of money... its just a civic after all

Go GSR. If you feel like going turbo later on the gsr responds well to the snail.
