axle question...pls help

aiight im doing a h22a swap on to my 98 ek cx...

first question : what map sensor do i use.....do i use the one from from d series which is mounted to the throttle body....the other problem is that the map sensor for the h22a is not mounted to the throttle i think its mounted to the fire wall and i dont have the map sensor....is ther anyway i could re wire or customise the map sensor from the d series to work with h22a....or can i just buy a map sensor(year/what car/etc.)

second question: what axles do i use? do i have to use mid shaft from an accord with teg axles.......now im using some no name brand mount kit...it looks like the enjo one's.......im almost done with swap this is the only problem im having with...when i drive i hear grinding sound....and when i put it up on the hoist and spin the wheels the engine goes up and down while the wheel spin...but it onyl happen's on the driver side?

pls help want to drive my car in dark nights....and rep tcc

you can customize the map sensor by making a vacuum manifold with a port for the D-series map, but I imagine it would be cheaper and quicker to just buy the proper MAP sensor from somewhere. Map sensors are all pretty much the same 1.5 bar design. The older Civics also used this same map sensor design, so you can try to source one of those from somewhere.

Did you buy the axles used? maybe you got a bad axle?? You really should invest in a proper axle setup though, cuz it kinda requires custom axles. QRTR and Cablerat or PunkInDrublic should be able to provide more info about this kinda swap.

I don't really know much about H22A swaps.

axles and map sensor problem?

thanx for responding.....now i use an older map sensor from an 93-94 civic with two outlet for the vacuum but still doesnt work...my mechanic said i need the map sensor with two outlet for the vacuum....i tried it with the older civic but it does not work?

and the axles are used...but its an default one....everything is fine....i was just wondering because at honda-tech they said you use an accord mid shaft now you think that would work?

thanx

dont know about 6th gen but for 5th gen its 90-93 intergra axles and 90-93 accord mid shaft... if your engine goes up and down when the wheels spin i'd look over your work cause thats not right.
