Average price of head mill and port and polish?

hey guys I'm looking at getting a d-series head milled a bit and get a port and polish and was just wondering what are the average prices to pay for the job(s)?

I'm not talking about any shops specific, but just looking for a close range figure to give me an idea.

thanks

btw: sorry if this is in the wrong section, didn't know exactly where to place it

I think I've paid a hundie for a milling on a neon head when the headgasket went. dunno about the port and polish part, but if you don't want anything hardcore, just get a dremel sanding drum and smooth out the ridges and isht. don't remove too much material, just smooth it out a lil but leave the sanding texture intact.

well i've never paid more than $65 for a resurface/mill....but port and polish usually starts around $600 for a street p'n'p.....if anyone tells you that they will do it for less, don't do it. A good port and polish takes time, and needs to be tested on a flow bench, so that all of the cylinders flow the same cfm.

how much power would that free up? I know it would depends on mods, but if anyone has an example of their before and after with their mods, i'd be interested.
THANKS
