Automatic radiators and Manual Radiators.

quick question.
what do you guys do when doing an auto to manual swap and wanna use the stock radiator.

the auto one has the oil line
but the manual doesnt

so what do u guys to the two holes that are left without a hose?
just leave it off? or do you loop it?

Capo 29-Nov-2005 06:42 PM

Just leave them off without a hose on em, nothing flows through em if there not hooked up.

i am worried about slush and mud piling up in there.
thats why i was thinking maybe looping it.

put rubber caps on them if you have a 5 spd car if it's auto then you need to hook up the oil cooler line from the tranny.

I had no issues leaving my auto rad with no pipes on it. Nothing got into the pipes.

loop it with a small hose if ur worried. leaving it open is fine as well cuz it's not like it has any pressure to suck **** in.
