Auto - to Manual Swap question / help needed
Hey guys 2 things.
1) I met up with a guy (can't remeber his name) up by Humber college with a black 4dr Civic who had done the auto to manual. I think I bought some suspension parts from you. (front sway bar maybe?) If you are him pm me please.
2) failing that in a manual car you have a plate that the rubber dust boot seal up to. Has anyone done one of these up before and can assist? I know you have to remove if from a wrecked car and weld it up.
I know this sounds **** but I want the car done right! The road noise sucks right now.
Let me know

it was me and you purchased the front sir suspension from me. i don't understand what you are asking with your second question though.
from what i do understand, you have road noise because you didn't use the plate off a manual car where the shifter bolts up. what you have to do is go and cut the plate off a manual car and then cut out your manual shifter plate and then weld it in place of the auto plate and then the rubber boot will fit on the lip from the shifter. make sure to seal the welds after (some black compound, i can't remember what it is called but it is used to cover the stock welds as well).
