Auto To Manual IACV Fix???

Hey guys. I am currently finishing up my auto to manual swap on a d16y8 but I need to clear one thing up. It's regarding the IACV.
I am using the automatic wiring harness, with a manual ecu. From what I have read I will need to move the B6 wire on the ecu to the B23 open spot, and unplug the B15 completely.
I am also using an automatic intake manifold and throttle body, so I am retaining the 3 wire IACV. Instead of changing the plug to a 2 wire, can I just unhook the orange wire from the 3 wire plug. That way only 2 wires run into the iacv?
Will this work, or am I thinking wrong?
Thanks guys.

no, the 3 wire and 2 wire IACVs are totally diff't and 2 wires won't run a 3 wire IACV.

Hmmmm, shoot. So is there any way to fix the IACV issue without swapping the entire intake manifold, and throttle body?
And how badly will the car run without the fix? Could I finish up the car and safely drive over to the junkers and pick up the parts, or will it be too eratic of an idle?
Thanks for the help bbarbulo.

^^Guess thats what I might have to do, because I can't find any other way to fix it.
I thought maybe just moving those pins in the ecu might fix it, but apparantly not.

you can drill out the manifold and install the 2 wire IACV, and just leave the other one unplugged, so all you need is the pigtail from the harness and the IACV itself. however, I use a 2 wire ECU with a 3 wire IACV, but I just left it unplugged. with it plugged in, my car won't idle at all, it stalls.

How does it run with it unplugged?
As for drilling the manifold, I'd be a little hesitant to try that due to lack of experience and improper tools at hand.

my car seems to run okay with the IACV unplugged. contact scott-93civichb (I think that's his board name) and he can drill the manifold for you.
