Auto to Manual ? How much $$ ?
I'm wondering how much it will cost to go from auto to 5spd ? Anyone know? I need to know a final price including everything. Maybe even the engine. Tell me some pricing.

hey while this topic is open how much does it cost to go from 5spd to auto?? I'm just curious.... trying to gather information about stuff on a saturday

to go from 5 spd to auto at honda when puchasing a new car is 1 thousand

but why???????

Auto-to-manual is doable. I would suggest doing it while you're getting the engine swapped. You'll save tons on labour.

Manual-to-auto on the other hand would be a nightmare. Wiring behind the dash, below the center console, and behind the gauge cluster would have to be almost completely redone.

auto to manual

parts needed:

1-shift linkage
2-Pedal assembly
3-hydrolic pump and all the lines.

labour around $400

As juggles mentioned, do the conversion at the same time as the swap. much easier for the mechanic.

well, i was wondering cuz if i do it, it will be during a swap. I am wondering. Cuz I think I might do it.... Still wondering though...

KSR quoted me $1800 before for a conversion on a 6th gen, auto to manual. Hope that helps.
