auto to manual holy **** im going crazy!!!!

right now ima going nuts doing the auto to manual conversion in the garage what a beautiful night too bad there is no room to do anything under the hood of this damn car and im missing a ball joint separator!!!!!!! anyone have any ideas right now for that ? im just about ready to lower the one side of the engine !!!!!! and pull off the auto tranny!!!!!!

use a hammer and hit the metal were the screw part goes in but d'ont hit the ball joint

dont mess up the threads on the ball joint, or bend it with a hammer

just use a pry bar and pry between the space where the LCA and ball joint merge

ok ok im past the ball joints used a hammer they came un done!!!! i smacked myself in the head with ma johnson bar while removing the rear bolt on the tranny , the tranny fell on me !!!!!!!! and now im working on the rusted to **** shfter bolts for the auto !!!!!!! hope im not coming into any new problems!!!!!!!!!

how do i get the car high enough to get the tranny out from underneath the side ???????

jack it up... then brace it with something... then start jacking again with stuff under the jack... my favourite is patio stones.... the sky's the limit

when I took off my auto tranny I just undid the bolts on the torque converter and it came off np, wasn't anything tricky

yeah i found the bolts for sure !! it fell off i stood up im like awsome i light up a smoke and the floor was covered in tranny fluid!!! squished some fingers in the vise grips!!!!!!!! now im wrestling with the torque converter mount braket bolts!!!!!!!!!! then i can mount the flywheel

anyone know what i do with the wires i unplug when i take the shifter out?

well off to bed !!! got everything auto removed except pedal assembly got the flywheel mounted!!!!! still trying to figure out how im going to get the tranny from under the car!!!!! oh well tommorow!! so far 4 hours by myself!!!

ha ha this isn't a one person job!!!!!!!! trying ot get the manual tranny in place got the clutch in i left the front and back mounts off the tranny i think myself its going ot be easier to bolt the tranny up , then do up the side engine mount then install the two side ones i have now just noticed that the mounts are different on the two tranny's good thing i have both sets i guess!!!!!!!!!
